This cottage is one of 2, the other being A Arribana, which are next door to each other and are situated in the village of Sao Pedro Nordestinho, Sao Miguel island, Azores,

These buildings were built in the 19th century, in the typical Azorean style and later restored with the addition of external areas for relaxing and enjoying the outside space and nature.

In the restoration of these stone houses the interior character was maintained, including the traditional wood oven and the characteristic built in cupboard. It contains two double bedrooms, a kitchen/living room, a complete bathroom and another living room in the attic.

Outside there is a carefully kept garden with amazing views of the sea and mountains, a swimming pool which is shared between the two cottages with a decking area, from where you can enjoy magnificent summer sunsets, a croquet court and a veranda with barbecue.
