Azores Connections is a registered Tour Operator and authorized Tour Agent based in the Azores Island capital of São Miguel. It is run by husband and wife team Andy and Laura Tomlin who feel privileged to live and work in such a jewel of a location.
After several years of traveling the world they have chosen to settle in the Azores Archipelago, commonly described as the “Hawaii of the Atlantic” due to its volcanic history and scenery, wonderful temperate climate, its unique flora and fauna, nature and of course its fabulous marine life and experiences.
Andy and Laura are passionate about the islands they call home and pride themselves on providing a 5 star service to all who choose Azores Connections for their trip planning expertise and guided tours, to make their dream Azorean holiday a reality.
Andy had a 26 year career in the Royal Navy, is a PADI IDC Staff Scuba Diving Instructor and is very much the 'man on the ground' He will be your personal tour guide and Azores experience manager. Whilst Laura who is a qualified Teacher and Children's Yoga Instructor loves to provide friendly and personalised customer service to all as they start to plan their Azores experience.
The couple met on a diving liveaboard trip in Egypt and since their meeting, spent their earlier years travelling the world (over 20 countries to date) and consider some of the highlights as establishing and managing a Scuba Diving Resort on an Island off of the coast of Cambodia as well as living and working on the tourist rich island of Roatan in the Caribbean Sea.
With a combination of the skills, experiences and knowledge obtained during their travels, they have developed a winning formula for providing the ultimate in customer service; thereby producing a smooth, transparent and above all enjoyable experience for all their Azores Connection Guests.
